Citylites is celebrating 25 years in business this year and has recently relocated from Eglinton Street to their spectacular new showroom in the 20,000 square foot building at Peter Curran Electric, in Ballybane, Galway — evidence that this family run business is going from strength to strength. So for up to the minute trends in lighting call into their beautiful new showroom on two levels and be amazed at the vast range on offer. In November 2010 Citylites, a retail lighting shop which was established in 1981 by Tom Curran, Peter’s father, moved from Eglinton Street in Galway city to a fantastic new showroom at Peter Curran Electric Ltd in the Glenrock Business Park, Ballybane. This move has been a huge success where customers can enjoy a much larger showroom with a fantastic choice of lighting to choose from, be it a beautiful centre piece for your hall or sitting room, a light for your kitchen or bathroom, outdoor garden and decking lighting, recessed lighting or beautiful chandeliers and pendants we have it all.

We offer ample onsite parking and the ease of access to the showroom, open six days a week, makes it convenient for the customer to shop. Anne Cummins, who was synonymous with Citylites as manageress in Eglinton Street for more than 20 years, continues in the same role and is happy to offer her friendly professional advice on all aspects of lighting. Our team of lighting professionals are dedicated to working in partnership with architects, interior designers, and the private customer to develop sophisticated lighting solutions to transform residential and commercial lighting environments to suit your needs and requirements.
